Many psychologists feel that falling in love is actually a quest to return to our first few months of life. During those months you had absolutely no responsibility at all. All your needs were catered to. Though we can’t - recall exactly what went on, it’s felt that our - minds record memories of those blissful days when all - we had to do was snooze, suckle and fill - our diaper. Those were the - days!
When we fall in love we’re filled with the joyous expectation of - once again having all our deepest needs met. And because - your new mate probably resembles - one or both of your parents, your subconscious mind is anticipating a return to those wonderful carefree days.
